I love Potder's Ping Pong Emporium! It's unlike any other spot in Louisville, and it's awesome!
Where else can you go and play ping pong, plus get amazing gourmet hot dogs (and other fresh gourmet food options) as well as craft beers and sodas?! No where! Since Potder's is located in the same building as Red Top, you get the option of having their full menu, plus the fun of playing ping pong to your heart's desire.
The space is awesome! They have plenty of tables (both for ping pong and seating), including an outdoor seating area. And if you don't have your own ping pong equipment, no worries! They rent equipment there!
If you're looking for a spot to hang out with friends, or come make some new ones, Potder's is exactly what you're looking for. I highly recommend checking it out! -

There are a few reasons to make time for Potder's and ping pong:
- it's free to use their paddle, or you can bring your own
- kid friendly but also great for big kids
- plenty of picnic tables to sit at while watching or hanging out
- monthly tournaments
- street parking (and close to Logan Street Market)
- connected to Red Top which means easy access to hot dogs, cheap beer and other snacks
Is there anywhere else to play ping pong? It's hard enough to find pool tables! Ping pong is fun and the sport is getting lost. I grew up with a convertible pool / ping pong table. But today, we aren't buying and putting those tables in our basements. Could it be possible some kids don't know what ping pong is?!?!
Put this on your list of fun things to do. It's cozy, a bit divey and something different to enjoy. -

Ping pong is dope. In an effing Olympic sport. It's fun as hell. And there just aren't that many places in Louisville where you can play. The Emporium is one of them. And it's outstanding. It's basically free, unless they're busy and/or you need to rent equipment. But even then it's not expensive at all. And it's just crazy fun. I mean CRAZY fun.
And of course, you're right next door from Red Top Hotdogs, so you can order food and beer for when you become hungry or thirsty.
This place is the way forward. -

Ping pong, hot dogs and beer. That, people, is a trifecta. Sitting adjacent to Red Top Dogs, Potder's Ping Ping Emporium is a welcome addition to that space and makes for a near-perfect afternoon of dad/son snack and smack talk. Coupled with a good beer or a bottled soda, and you'll be thinking, "why didn't I think of this?" It's like hanging out at your neighbor's really cool garage game room w/o being questioned on if you're done using those borrowed hedge clippers.
Potder's includes some very nice ping pong tables with a couple classic arcade games (Donkey Kong, anyone?), an area for shooting darts, and some picnic tables for those waiting to play, cheering on friends, or those that simply enjoy listening to the sound of the ping pong balls batted back and forth.
